The North Yarmouth Events Committee needs help!

Planning and running North Yarmouth Fun Day is a big task and many hands make light work. We are all busy people with families and other responsibilities,
but we come together once a month to collaborate on what is one of the yearly highlights for many of our neighbors. The Events Committee has many sub-committees,
so there is an opportunity to find something that suits and interests you.

Activities: organizing competitions/activities like Horseshoes, Cribbage and Diaper Derby
Communication: writing and distributing press releases, updating community calendars
Entertainment: booking/coordinating with performers
Fund-raising: soliciting and working with sponsors
Games: organizing the old-fashioned arcade games that kids play to win prizes and Fun Day Dollars
Graphics: creating posters and advertisements
Parade: coordinating parade participants
Vendors: soliciting and coordinating with the folks that rent space from us to offer food, goods and information to Fun Day attendees
Volunteers: soliciting and coordinating the many volunteers needed to make Fun Day run smoothly

Being a member of the North Yarmouth Events Committee is a great opportunity to meet people and gain experience, while having a memorable impact on our community!

Our Mission: Neighbors working together for the community.

The North Yarmouth Events Committee helps the community maintain its small town identity. We do this by organizing community events, such as summer concerts on the Village Green and Fun Day, and by encouraging all residents and business in the community to become involved.
